Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Secrely! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Secrely application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.
By accessing or using Secrely, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

By using our app, you're agreeing to follow these rules. If you don't agree, please don't use Secrely.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you're entering into a legal agreement with Secrely.
Use of the Service & Account Security
2.1 Account Registration
To use certain features, you need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
2.2 End-to-End Encryption & Password Responsibility
Secrely utilizes End-to-End Encryption (E2EE). Your password is used to encrypt your private key locally on your device. WE DO NOT STORE YOUR RAW PASSWORD OR PRIVATE KEY. If you forget your password, you will permanently lose access to your encrypted messages. We cannot recover them for you.
2.3 Age Restrictions
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
2.4 Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service up and running, but disruptions may occur. We are not liable for any disruption or data loss.
In simple terms:
You are 100% responsible for your password. Because your messages are heavily encrypted, losing your password means losing your chats forever. Also, you must be 13+ to use the app.
User Content & Anonymity
3.1 Your Content
You are responsible for the Content that you post on or through the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
3.2 Content License
By posting Content, you grant us the right to process and distribute such Content to provide the Service. You retain your rights to your Content.
3.3 Anonymity Features
Secrely provides features to send anonymous messages. While we obscure sender identities from recipients, we may log contextual data (e.g., Device Fingerprint, Location) to prevent abuse. We will reveal user identities to law enforcement if legally required.
3.4 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any Content from the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
In simple terms:
You own your content. Anonymous messaging is safe, but if you abuse it to harm others or break the law, we can and will cooperate with authorities.
Prohibited Conduct & Enforcement
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or harm any other user.
- Post or share content involving Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or exploitation (CSAE). We have a zero-tolerance policy and will report such actions to authorities.
- Post illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or pornographic content.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's servers or networks.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted parts of the Service.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose under local or international law.
- Collect personal data about other users without consent.
- Exploit the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes.
- Distribute malware, spyware, or other harmful code.
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate termination. We reserve the right to apply permanent hardware/device bans (Device Fingerprinting) to prevent abusive users from creating new accounts.

Don't use Secrely to harm others, break the law, or share illegal content. If you do, we will permanently ban your device.
Premium Services & Virtual Items
5.1 Pro Subscriptions
Secrely offers premium subscriptions ("Pro Plan"). Subscriptions are billed through third-party platforms (Google Play/RevenueCat). Auto-renewal may occur unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5.2 Virtual Items (Stars)
The Service may include virtual items such as "Stars". These items are digital content with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred outside the Service.
5.3 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the respective app store's refund policy.
In simple terms:
Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel. Virtual items like 'Stars' have no real-world cash value and cannot be refunded.
Account Termination
6.1 Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time via the app settings. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed.
6.2 Termination by Us
We may terminate or suspend your account and device access immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.

You can delete your account anytime. We can also ban you if you violate these rules.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice.
By continuing to use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to the revised terms.

We might update these terms. By continuing to use Secrely, you agree to the new changes.
Disclaimers & Limitations
8.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. SECRELY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
SECRELY MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL SECRELY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA (SUCH AS FORGOTTEN PASSWORDS LEADING TO ENCRYPTED DATA LOSS).
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SECRELY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM HACKING OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS.
8.3 Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Secrely from claims or damages resulting from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

We provide the app "as is". We aren't legally or financially responsible for lost data, lost passwords, or damages resulting from using the app.
